Villa Caprice is a bohemian style Bed & Breakfast in the classic part of Marbella, close to the Golden Mile, the beach and all amenities. The owner of this villa is Xaviera Hollander, the famous Dutch author of the Happy Hooker and many other books. She usually resides in Amsterdam, where she and her charming husband Philip also run a successful Bed and Breakfast.

Villa Caprice is a Bed & Breakfast, charmingly Spanish in style, with a distinct Andalusian design. The villa is located in the hills of Marbella, in a highly desirable area of the Costa del Sol.

Villa Caprice is delightfully equiped with every amenity one would need and ready to welcome you for a carefree and restful stay close to the sea.

Breakfast is being served by Theo any time between 8.30 a.m -11.00 a.m.



If you wish, the staff is available to babysit or help you shop or even take a short tour. It is also possible to have a lovely meal cooked at the villa. Please get in touch with Theo about that and if there are any problems do not hesitate to contact us.

The villa boasts a big mature garden with a lovely lawn, the inviting large swimming pool has fountains and a sun terrace with 8 loungers. Visitors can enjoy total privacy in Xaviera's garden.

This accommodation is gay friendly. It is a ground floor villa which is also accesible for people who are physically impaired. Pets are welcome but please consultat with the owner first.

There is a spacious livingroom with comfortable couch and big sofas, a large dining table where easily 8 people can be seated for meals. Stereo, TV, DVD, satellite with BBC, CNN and several Dutch Channels, Wifi connection.

Villa Caprice has a big and convenient well equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, grill, coffee and tea making machines, dishwasher, orange juicer, toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board. There is a smaller kitchen in the left wing as well.

There is a cozy bar that holds 12 people easily and all along the outside of the house are terraces. The main living room terrace has a large round marble table that seats 8 to 10 people easily. Then there is a comfortable couch with big chairs on the same terrace.

Theo (Dutch) will look after the pool every morning. Theo speaks English, Dutch and a little Spanish.
